Types of lighting in the studio & What they are used for

Here I have listed different studio lights & what they would be used for
  •  Softbox - This light would be used to diffuse a even soft light.

Honeycomb Light - This light would be used to create a nice Shadow on an image and can also be set the mood with a filter. Good for adding texture & depth.

Snoot light - This light is used to direct a beam of light directly at the subject.

Umbrella - Again this works similar to the soft box and will diffuse light.
Barn doors - This light fitting will allow you to control the direct of the light and by adjusting the doors you can create different shadows.

Beauty Dish - This light is used for portraits & Flattering Light.

Examples of studio lighting.
